Hello everyone it’s us again. We have been do a lot of nothing here in warm SC. Actually it snowed yesterday but now it’s gone and in the 50’s. We have been talking about writing a newsletter and changing the website for some time now but it’s just not happening. We are still living with our parents and we just can’t get settled enough to work on the computer or write letters. Hopefully it will come soon enough though.
We have been pretty busy searching for jobs, filling out applications, having conference calls and setting up appointments. Things are looking pretty good at this point. As many of you know I do computer stuff and Em is a counselor. But as it looks we will be putting both of those professions aside and joining together to become house parents. That’s right we will be the parents of a house. Inside the house will not only be furniture and appliances but also 6-8 children/teenagers. We will post more when we know which position we are taking. They are all so different it would take too long to talk about all of them. Right now we have a meeting or hopefully 2 next week in NC and then over the weekend we are being flown to VA. Those are the 3 we are looking at right now and we have 2 more we might contact next week if need be. It makes for a strange turn of events but we both feel very lead and excited about the opportunities this position brings. Please pray for us and the decisions that need to be made.
