I finally posted some pictures from our family vacation to the Outer Banks. The Schafer and Smith family all stayed in one house for a week and it was a great time. We went to the beach, had our own pool and a community pool, played games, volleyball, went deep sea fishing, took a jeep excursion to see wild Spanish horses, ate great food, and had tons of fellowship. It was a a perfect time esp since the Croslands leave August 13th for PNG for 4 years! Check out the pictures and hope all is well for you and yours.

Em went to all this trouble to make Ben his first birthday cake from scratch I guess we should have realized from his previous eating habits that he is more like his daddy than his mommy. He didn’t go for the chocolate cake but he loved the store bought strawberry one. I didn’t get much video of the second cake so I put a few pictures in at the end to show how much he enjoyed it.
