Well welcome to the new website. I finally got around to updating and decided to change the whole thing. I still need to do some work on it but at least the bulk of it is now finished. If you have any problems let me know. A few things about it. For those of you espically in Ukraine you can change the theme of the website. I know it is a little heavy on the traffic and that you pay by the mb. If you click on the button in the bottom left of the screen with the pencile in it you can change the theme. The light theme takes everything away except the actual content and with cost you less money and open faster. You dont need any account to do this or anything on the site. It will remember your computer and default to that theme every time you visit.
I posted pictures of before and after for what we have finished on the house. I did the final touch ups on the living room and the kitchen Thursday so they are pretty much done. Still need the get a new door for the laundry room and new counter tops. But I think we are going to wait a year or so and get new cabinets and counter tops at the same time. With the living room we need curtains and we are not sure what to do with the 15ft wall yet. There is nothing on it and we can’t agree with what we want there. The formal dining room is still in need of touch ups but I will do those next week sometime.
We also have 2 girls living with us finally. They are both 17 years old and will be with us until at least June. One has here GED and says she is leaving in May or June when she turns 18. The other is in her senior year and will hopefully be going to a local college. We have been talking with her and she may continue to live with us for her first year of college. Ellie already loves them and we are all starting to get settled in and accustomed to each other’s personalities. One of our girls has a 10 month old Siberian Husky that we allowed her to bring to the house. Ellie loves to watch him through the window and bark at him.
Emily is 6 month along now and is starting to have a hard time getting around. She can’t tie her shoes or sit is a straight back chair anymore. She finally got accept on Medicaid and meet with her new doctor last week. We still don’t have a name for the little boy, but he is growing and moving all over the place.
We are trying to teach Ellie to use a real potty. I say trying but we have only sat her on it 2 or 3 times and haven’t really committed to it. She is all over the place. Talking and learning. She loves Elmo and Barney of course. Always wants to dance and go to the park.
We are going to start working on the house again in a few weeks. We had to stop because we have not gotten a pay check since November 14th and aren’t do for our first one until the fist of Feb. Things are a little tight now. But we love our new house and the area. We have a job and know that the pay checks are coming and will continue to come. We thank God every night for the blessings and opportunity not only to help teenagers but to be home together raising Ellie and continuing to grow with him in our marriage.
Hope you all are well and would love to hear from you.
Take care,
